Nangaapa 5

After Nangaapa one (where everything was blurred), two (where I looked like a retarded underweight boxer), three (where I declared I had grown a six-pack but that could hardly be seen in the pic) and four (which I didn’t call Nangaapa but called my header instead), ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you a fake fantasy mag cover in Nangaapa #5. LOL, I love how funnily I love myself.

please koi ise kapde pehnaao yaar!

An HDR self portrait shot sometime after 00:00 hrs. This is my home office and the best part is, most of the times, I don’t really have to hit the real office. But if you really think about it, that’s also the worst part.

Connect the Dots

Connect the Dot

I know a lot of you guys told me you didn’t really like the cover page design of Stay Hungry Stay Foolish. So I wonder how many of you would like the new one now. Rashmi shall be launching the book in Ahmedabad the coming Saturday and that’s when I shall meet her for the first time.

PS: the funda of the design is simple: things don’t always make sense when they are happening, but after years, if you look back at your life, you shall be able to connect the dots (Steve Jobs pseud puts)

PS2: Anyone out there in Ahmedabad can join me – we can have coffee together and you can give me ideas for cover page of Rashmi’s next book that I am onto. Cyao

D’ya love readin?

http://iloveread.in/images/logo_landing_page.png

I do.  And ‘iloveread.in’ (pronounced i-love-readin) is the name that I suggested to Misre in May last year when he asked me to come up with a name for a company that he wanted to launch. He liked the name and then I went ahead and created the logo that you see above. Know what, the creepy fingers are mine. Heh – funny no? Let me explain. To create this logo, I had set my cam on a tripod, held a book in my hands and then shot a self-portrait. I used the picture thus clicked to draw what you see. So yeah, the fingers are mine! Yay!

Anyway, the point of this post is not to tell ya guys how I created the logo. Or why I named the company ‘iloveread.in’. Or how creepy my fingers are. The point is to let ya guys know that the company has finally been launched. Clicking on the logo above shall take you to the company website. Believe me, the website is pretty cool. And if you are wondering what the company does, the following copy-paste from the site shall help ya:

iloveread.in is a library of books. You can select your book online and request for a home delivery. It’s convenient and offers value for your money.

So, do check it out if you are into reading and all that. And even if you don’t, keep reading!
