Guest house room - Bhubaneswar

Photography is getting into my head like mad – I should give it a break. My favourite pass-time has suddenly become browsing photographs on flickr – and of course, uploading some of my own. What I do is, I look at a photograph and then read it’s EXIF data (and sincerely curse them who don’t have the EXIF data in the image files). Sometimes after seeing a photograph, I first guess values for focal length, exposure, aperture etc. and then go ahead and check out the actual figures from the EXIF data to confirm my guesses. It has become crazy. At other times, I keep reading lens reviews – keep checking forums where they discuss the most popular lenses. Suddenly I am desperate to get a Sigma 50mm f/1.4 lens – yet to figure out its cost in India. In any case, I will soon get a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens – it’s not very costly. Then there is this craze for HDR and tone-mapping suddenly (now you know why the picture of my room looks so whacky). Shit, I haven’t even been running or gymming – been more than 12 days! Photography is getting into my head like mad – I should give it a break.
