Rakshabandhan in Mumbai

It’s me here at a KFC in Hiranandani, Powai, waiting for an old school friend. I last met her when we attended the IIT counselling together in IIT Guwahati. It’s been five years. She was a B. Tech. Passed out last year from IITD. The plan is to take her to my uncle. It’s at uncles place where mumma, sishter, daadi, Disha and Disha’s newly born sister await my arrival.

Mumbai smells good in rains. Tiwari, Anshuman, myself and Babes drove back early morning today from the Valley. And now each is on a different way. It feels weird when you move too fast, from one place to another, leaving behind one friend to catch another. Life, that’s how it’s gonna be. For a long time now.

I am really happy that after a long time I will get a chance to get Rakhi wrapped around the wrist by dear sishter. I hope she is equally happy to gain control over the possession of my Dellruba as Rakhi gift. 🙂
