Ah, the same thing’s called Valfi (Valedictory function) in IITB. And guess what, booze has been officially banned now and hence the drinking ceremony doesn’t take place on the campus anymore!
Booze was always ‘officially’ banned, wasn’t it – at least that holds true for IITM. 🙂
It was, but the rule was never enforced. Now, have targets to meet and incentives linked to the fine amount recovered from “erring students”. Talk of employee motivation! 🙂
