Finally two months are over. Today is my last day of internship. I am not in my office as I type away this post. It’s past 1 AM and I just don’t feel like sleeping. It’s time to look back at the past sixty days and wonder what I gained, what I lost.
I remember cribbing about my first day at office. And I remember I was still cribbing on the fourth day. I remember starting Eleven Minutes and then finishing it. I remember shagging over Bangalore’s fundoo weather. I remember the crazy fight I put to get the right cable for my video camera. I remember running into a hostel mate at a bus-stop so that I could ask him for a buck. I remember that day when I missed her in Forum and decided not to miss her ever again. I remember getting drenched in the rain. I remember organizing the failed IIT Madras get together and then shouting at everyone. I remember how I shot uncle and aunt as they cooked Chicken Biryani for me. I remember being pained by Ravi, throughout my internship and making this, this and this for him. I remember losing my ATM card. I remember seeing the birth of vatsap.com. I remember playing the kiddish virtual game and enjoying being a kid. I remember showing my palm to a footpath fortune teller. I remember the failed bike trip. I remember visiting Chennai for all the crazy reasons. I remember the second IITM get together in Bangalore which was a hit. I remember making sketches on footpath. I remember looking for her on the streets of Bangalore and then finally finding her and then spending the most beautiful evening of my life ever. And I remember never blogging about that evening. I remember how I missed a friend. Though I limp no more, I still remember the day when I was knocked down. I remember those TV channel vans that made me feel uncomfortable. And oh, I of course remember the Roof Top Film Festival.
Two months. They flew by. I could throw few away from my heart. I couldn’t throw some. I accepted a few things. I couldn’t accept some. And like I always do, I learnt a li’l more about life.
Should be in Hyderabad on Saturday if the bus that leaves Bangalore tonight doesn’t overturn. Someone has promised to show me the city. Let’s see how it works out to be. I am there in Hyd till Monday night. Anyone besides that someone willing to catch up with me? Do let me know.
